Our Pine Honey
Pine is considered to be the most important Greek beekeeping plant, with about 65% of the total domestic honey production coming from this tree.
“Leading” regions in the production of pine honey are Halkidiki, northern Evia, Thassos, Skopelos, Rhodes, and Zakynthos.
It’s dark honey, especially during its production in autumn, low in natural glucose so it does not crystallize easily, remaining fluid for an extended period.
Due to low levels of sugar concentration, it doesn’t have a very sweet taste while its aroma strongly resembles the smell of the forest!
It contains innumerable, valuable ingredients, which help , making it an important food for health and well-being!
